Who is responsible?
Xeroth AI Limited is the controller for xEAR website enquiries. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 15994337. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Use Xeroth’s contact form or write to that address, marked “Privacy”, to contact us about your information.
What we use and why
If you contact Xeroth, we receive the contact details and message you provide through the contact service. We use these to respond, discuss arrangements and manage your request. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement, or our legitimate interest in answering a general enquiry.
This site does not host an enquiry form. Contact links take you to Xeroth’s contact service, where its notices and submission controls apply.
Website delivery and service providers
Our hosting and security providers process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and security events to deliver and protect the website. This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare delivery. We rely on legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website for the processing we control.
The external Xeroth contact service handles enquiries. Authorised Xeroth staff and service providers supporting enquiry handling may access them. Information may also be disclosed where law requires it. We do not sell your enquiry information.
Providers may process data outside the UK. Their service terms describe the locations and transfer safeguards they use, including adequacy arrangements and contractual safeguards where applicable. See HubSpot’s privacy policy, OpenAI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Contact Xeroth for information about safeguards applicable to your enquiry.
Cookies and browser storage
The xEAR application does not add advertising cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts or persistent browser storage. The example system loads its anonymous summary from this website. Hosting and security services may use necessary cookies or similar mechanisms to deliver and protect their services. This site does not load a contact-service tracking script or submit enquiry details.
Fonts and imagery are served with the website. External links take you to services with their own privacy and cookie practices. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information is retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship. Decisions about continued retention take account of unresolved requests, consent preferences, complaints and applicable legal or record-keeping obligations. Information no longer needed for these purposes should be deleted or anonymised. You can contact us to ask about, or request deletion of, your enquiry.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request portability. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on it. There is no automated decision about you with legal or similarly significant effects through this enquiry service.
You can raise a concern with Xeroth and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not have to contact us first.
Field monitoring is a separate activity
This notice covers the public website and enquiries. A deployed monitoring project needs its own site notices, recording access arrangements and retention rules. Acoustic and RF monitoring need project-specific data handling; this website does not publish live microphone feeds, personal conversations or recordings of people.
